Scotland vs Morocco kicks off Friday, June 19, 2026 (6:00 PM ET / midnight in Paris) on FOX, Telemundo, TSN and TF1, and our prediction calls a 2-1 Morocco win.

Scotland vs Morocco is the Friday, June 19, 2026 Group C clash at the World Cup, kicking off at 6:00 PM ET (midnight in Paris on Saturday, June 20). The match airs on FOX in the United States, TSN, CTV and RDS in Canada, and TF1 in France. It is Matchday 2 in a group that also features Brazil and Haiti, and it is a potentially decisive fixture for knockout qualification.
The game (tournament Match No. 30) kicks off on Friday, June 19, 2026 at 6:00 PM ET / 3:00 PM PT, which is midnight in Paris overnight into Saturday (12:00 AM CEST, June 20). It is played at Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, Massachusetts (branded "Boston Stadium" by FIFA), a roughly 64,628-capacity venue with an open roof in Greater Boston.
For broadcasters: in the United States it is on FOX (English) and Telemundo / Universo (Spanish), streaming via the Fox Sports app / Tubi and Peacock. In Canada it is CTV and TSN (English) and RDS (French), streaming on TSN+ / Crave. In France it is free-to-air on TF1 plus beIN Sports. With Q4TV, you bundle FOX, FS1, Telemundo, TSN, CTV, RDS and international feeds in one place in 4K Ultra HD, instead of juggling a dozen subscriptions.
Morocco (around 7th in the FIFA rankings) are the favourites. The Atlas Lions held Brazil to a 1-1 draw on Matchday 1 through Vinícius Jr.'s goal, and they have conceded just one goal across their last five qualifiers (form DWWWDD). Mohamed Ouahbi's side is built around Achraf Hakimi, goalkeeper Yassine Bounou and the creativity of Brahim Díaz, Azzedine Ounahi and Bilal El Khannouss.
Yet Scotland (around 41st at FIFA) arrive top of the group. Steve Clarke's team beat Haiti 1-0 thanks to John McGinn (28'), their first World Cup win since 1990, and sit on 3 points. With Scott McTominay, captain Andy Robertson and Lewis Ferguson, a win here would all but secure a place in the round of 16. To place this group in context, see our guide to all 12 groups and the World Cup 2026 format.
There is only one prior meeting between these nations: the 1998 World Cup group stage, where Morocco won 3-0 in Saint-Étienne. This is just the second-ever encounter.
The most likely outcome is a narrow Morocco win, 2-1. The Atlas Lions have more individual quality and squad depth, but Scotland's defence, marshalled by Jack Hendry and Grant Hanley, makes them a tough out. Bookmakers price Morocco as favourites at around 4/5 (1.80), with the draw and a Scotland win longer.
On goals, expect a tight contest: the market leans toward Under 2.5 goals, with a rough estimate of around 1.4 to 1.6 xG for Morocco against 0.8 to 1.0 for Scotland (an estimate, not a published model). A goal from Brahim Díaz or Achraf Hakimi off Morocco's attacking moves is the most credible scorer scenario, with McGinn the Scotland option.
